The Challenge

Linear has revolutionised project management for many teams, but a gap remained in seamlessly sharing progress with clients and external stakeholders. Agencies and SaaS builders needed a way to maintain their efficient workflows while providing clients with visibility and input channels.

Our Approach

We developed Lindie as a companion to Linear, focusing on three key areas. First, we created sharable boards, which are customisable, secure spaces for client collaboration. Second, we implemented streamlined feedback, an efficient system for capturing and integrating client input. Third, we designed proactive communication features, which provide automated updates to keep clients informed without manual effort.

Key Features

Lindie offers flexible sharing options, including customisable boards for sharing single projects or entire roadmaps. We implemented fine-grained privacy controls to protect sensitive information, ensuring that clients only see what they need to.

Our client input integration features a form builder for capturing structured feedback. This system directly maps client requests to Linear issues, streamlining the process of incorporating client input into the project workflow.

We also developed automated update features to enhance communication. These include status change notifications and project progress summaries. Our 'Magic Summary' feature provides comprehensive project overviews, keeping clients informed without requiring constant manual updates from the team.
